Mr. C. Sembuya is the Chairman of the Board of the Sembule Group. He is also a co-founder of the Sembule Group together with his brother, the Late Mr. W. Buwule.

Mr. C. Sembuya served as the Managing Director of Sembule Steel Mills Limited from it's founding until 1996.

The management team is led by the Managing Director, Mr. Francis Sembuya.

Francis holds a Bachelor of science degree in Business Administration from Houghton College in New York, USA and a Master of science degree in Economics from Eastern University in Pennsylvania, USA.

Business Experience:

Francis was named Managing Director of Sembule Steel Mills Ltd in March 2004. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Sembule Steel Mills Ltd. His duties include setting the overall strategic direction of Sembule Steel Mills Ltd.

Francis began his career with Sembule as a cashier with Sembule Investment Bank (now Allied Bank) in 1990. In 1991 he joined Sembule Steel Mills Ltd as an Imports Assistant. He has held several posts at Sembule Steel Mills Ltd including IT manager, General Manager and Executive Assistant Managing Director.

Francis is an accomplished entrepreneur with extensive experience in starting and running successful businesses ranging from restaurants to real estate.

Francis' hobbies include sailing, chess and soccer.
